BASKETBALL

MACDUFFS MATCH

A keenly-contested basketball match was played between the shop and office staff of MacDuft's, Ltd., recently, the office team winning by 16-12. At the conclusion of the match the members of the teams were served with ! afternoon tea, and Mrs. L. O. Boyd presented the winning .team with a silver cup, which has been given by the directors of Macduffs, Ltd., for competition among" the various branches. Thanks were extended to Mrs. Middleton. the referee, who was presented with a small gift as a token of appreciation.
