YOUNG PEOPLE ENTERTAINED

Mr and Mrs. Martin Luckie entertained about 80 of the young friends of their daughter, Miss June Luckie, at a "five o'clock" party which they gave in her honour at their home in Glermont Terrace last night. They were assisted by their daughter, Miss Patricia Luckie, who returned last week from Sydney. The hostess was wearing a smart 'frock of tabac brown crepe de chine. Miss June Luckie wore black with touches of colour, and her sister's frock was of green wool bouele. 1 Thfe guests assembled in the drawingroom" and dining-room, where bowls of Iceland poppies and tawny chrysanthemums repeated in colours the warmth of the glowing fires.
