THE LAST DROP

When a tin of liquid metal-polish is nearly empty the dregs may be used up economically if a little turpentine is added. This, if well shaken, mixes with the sediment left at the bottom of the tin and prevents it drying up and being wasted. The hole in the top of the tin may be enlarged with a skewer, if necessary, so that the turpentine may be poured in from a teaspoon.
