AUCKLAND, June 2.
The death has occurred at Penzance, Cornwall, of Lieutenant-Colonel John Hugh Boscawen. He was an honorary aide-de-camp to Lord Onslow and subsequent Governors of New Zealand up to the time of Lord Liverpool. He was aged 85 years.
