PLANS FOR THE TESTS

A WEEK OUT OF TOWN

An announcement - that both . the South African and New Zealand teams would spend the week prior to the first Test (to be played at Wellington- on August 14) away from the city was made at- last night's meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union's executive. The South. African team would be in the Wairarapa and the; New Zealand team at Otaki. ■ . • .

Those present at last night's meeting were:^-Messrs. S. S. Dean, (chairman), F. T. Glasgow; J. Prendeville, A. McDonald, W. J. Wallace,-and A.'C. Kitto, Lieutenant-Colonel J. G. Roache, and Mr. A. E.Neilson (secretary).

It. was stated that the third Test, South Africa v. New Zealand, at Auckland, would be played at Eden Park instead of at the Show Grounds as previously arranged. Mr. Dean nad been to Auckland . recently to . discuss the matter with officials-there. . Most of-the other, business at last night's meeting was taken in committee - - ' ' ' Applications by the following for reinstatement or admission were granted: G W. Holland, J. Karaka, T. Ewe, L. B.
