THEFT OF OVERCOAT
A plea of guilty to the theft of an overcoat valued at £3 3s was entered by Reginald Francis Joblin, a labourer, aged 22, in the Magistrate's Court yesterday. Deteetive-Sergt. P. Doyle, who prosecuted, said that a man lost his overcoat from a dance hall on the evening of May 26. Since then, he had seen the defendant wearing a coat resembling his own. He asked the man to come to a police station, where the offence was admitted. The defendanthad not been before the Court before, and was apparently of good reputation' Joblin was admitted to probation-for twelve months. An application for the suppression of his name was refused.
