DESTROYER REPORTS TO

ADMIRALTY

LONDON. May 31

A British destroyer engaged on the non-intervention patrol scheme sent a wireless message to the Admiralty reporting that -the German warship Admiral Scheer , was bombarding Almeria.

The Spanish Embassy in London was informed that five German warships participated in the bombardment and that German ; submarines 'were attacking shipping.

A message from Berlin stated that shore leave at all German naval ports had been cancelled;
