ROAD CYCLING
WEST CUP RACE
The Poneke Amateur Cycling Club is to hold two races tomorrow afternoon, one of eight miles for juniors and the other of 25 miles, for seniors. The senior race is for the West Cup, given by E. West for annual competition. A. Huxford, the. previous holder, will be among the starters. Both events are to start and finish at the Central Fire Station, Jervois Quay, and the riders will follow the main north road. The. juniors are to turn at Ngahauranga and the seniors at the Taita Hotel in the Hutt Valley. The races are to start at 2.30 pm. Following are the handicaps:— Seniors.—R. Ulmer, R. Loader, R.
