HITCH IN FAREWELL
United Press Association—By Electric Tele-
graph—Copyright. (Received May 27, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 26. The New Zealand Coronation conr tingent will leave for home tomorrow, and a large crowd of their countrymen are disappointed that there will be no chance of farewellingthem. It 'was originally arranged that the troops should entrain at Liverpool Street Station at 3.30 p.m. for the Royal Albert Docks, where they would board the Rangitiki. . The New Zealand Office sent out a circular, advising New Zealanders resident in London, and then the War Office decided at the last minute, owing, it was stated, to the baggage transport problem, that the troops should go direct from Pirbright to the docks, resulting in the New Zealand Office having to issue a cancelling circular. The troops are upset, and several have called at the New Zealand Office to express their disappointment. A few members of the contingent, including Major Weir, are remaining in England for. a short holiday.
