Cabled reports ; from Colombo indicate a steady market for desiccated coconut at the present level of prices. Australian dried fruits are short as; to sultanas, which have recently advanced Is'6d per cwt, and supplies of the Crown sultanas are exhausted. Currants and seeded lexias show no change in price. Australian canned fruits available are standard peaches and pears and seconds peaches. Other packs are reported as finished. Singapore advices show that sago and tapioca have recently advanced 5s per ton. British Columbia packers advise Vancouver stocks of sockeye salmon plentiful; pinks ' almost all out and cohoes getting low. Australian cream of tartar has been increased in price by £4 per ton. Tartaric and citric acids unchanged.
