RUGBY FOOTBALL
SPECIAL MATCH
WELLINGTON TEAM CHOSEN
A Wellington representative team is to play a Rugby match with the Public Services representatives at Athletic Park next Wednesday in aid' of the King George V Memorial Fund. Mr. M. F. Nicholls and the assistant selectors (Messrs. A. McDonald and F.sD. Kilby) have made the following choice of players for the match:'—
Backs—Vartan (Pc'neke), E. McGreevy (Marist), Patterson (Welling-, ton), Jones (Athletic), Edwards (Wellington), Love (Pirates), Robinson (Hutt), G. Reynolds (Old Boys), and Thompson (Wellington).
Forwards.—Mitchell (Petone), Dellabarca (Eastbourne), Mollier (Athletic);'. Kenny (Johnsonville), O'Brien and Calcinai .(Poneke), ' Cassidy (Hutt), Hardie (Old Boys), Bishop (Athletic), and Souness (Old'B'bys). '
The players are- 'to train at th 9 Poneke gymnasium at 7.45 p.m. on Monday. , . :
