Lady Wigram arrived in Wellington this morning from the south, on ■ business connected with the Red Cross. Mrs. Brown-Philp, who has been paying a round of visits through New Zealand, has returned to Auckland and is staying at the Hotel Cargen. Miss Mona Blair, Gisborne, has arrived in Wellington for the wedding of Miss Alison Pearce and Mr. Bryan Silk, and is the guest of. Mrs. R. A. Whyte, Bolton Street. Miss Mary Rochfort, Khandallah, returned yesterday from a holiday visit to Hawke's Bay. Miss Ida Hanlon will leave on Saturday for a motor tour of the North Island. Mrs. W. J. S. Brabant, Suva, Fiji, who, with her husband and daughter Dian£, is making a motor tour of the North Island, arrived in Wellington yesterday and is visiting her many friends.
