That a new era of peace and prosperity may be before us is the heartfelt hope of all, and with a monarch of undoubted constitutional, views and a stable outlook on all matters pertaining to the nation, we enter the new year with high hopes for a brighter future." Farewell on Board. Before the sailing of the Narbada, on Saturday for Calcutta, several friends of Mrs. E. J. Moore and her daughter, Mrs. Thornley, foregathered on board to wish them "bon voyage." Their cabin was well filled with lovely flowers and other "travel" gifts. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Mulligan, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kemp, Mrs. Ferkins and Mr. Max Ferkins. Mrs. David Courts, Mr. Thornley, Misses Gold, Mrs. Hall, Mr. and Mrs. F. Jeffries, and Mrs. O. M. Shakespeare..
