Lady Myers left for Dunedin last ': night with her son, Mr. Maurice Myers. She intends to, spend about a fortnight in Dunedin. Miss Margaret Churchward, Blenheim, will arrive in Wellington on Tuesday and will stay about six weeks. Miss Elizabeth Hadfield, of "Bonchurch," Hill Street, left this morning for Napier, where she has received an appointment on the staff of the Public Hospital. Mrs. Trevlyn Miller, who has been paying an extended visit to Wellington, has returned to her home in Thames. Mr. and Mrs. G. P. H. Davidson are among those who will leave today by the Akaroa. They will leave the ship at Kingston, Jamaica, and will pay a visit to Canada, and possibly go to Boston before their return to New Zealand. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Todd, Tinakori Road, who havfc been spending a fortnight in Christchurch, are • now visiting Invercargill and Dunedin. Mrs, Ethel I. Bainton, wife of Dr. Edgar Bainton, principal of the New South Wales Cohservatorium of Music, has been visiting Wellington, and will leave by the Akaroa today for London. Sir Stephen, and Lady Allen, Auckland, are passengers on. the Akaroa, which leaves Wellington today for England. ■ ■ Mrs. Archibald Hunt, who has" been spending some months at Cambridge, has returned to Wellington, accompanied by her husband, the Rev. A. Hunt. Mother Ligouri is a passenger on the Akaroa, which leaves Wellington today for England. Miss R Evetts, Wellington, is visiting her parents at Okaiawa, Taranaki. Dr Doris Gordon, who has been visiting Dunedin, ' where she was examiner at the obstetrical examinations, has returned to Stratford. Dr. and Mrs. G. W. Coats will leave Wellington by the Akaroa today for England. Miss Jean Roberts, Wellington, left today for Auckland, where she will spend several days. Mr;and Mrs. F.:.H. Grear, Wellington, will leave by the Akaroa today for England. Mrs I. A. Beale and Miss Joyce Beale, Lower Hutt, have returned from a visit to Auckland. • Miss Marjorie Black, principal of the Archerfield School, Dunedin, arrived in Wellington this morning and is the guest of Miss Mayhew, Marsden School. Miss Black is to be the speaker tomorrow night at a meeting, called by Professor Wood, chairms:' of the Dominion-Council of the League of, Nations Union. Miss Black was the League of Nations delegate for New Zealand to the World Youth Congress in Geneva last year. • and' she will speak'on the work of the Congress. Mrs. E. R. Natusch will leave by the Akaroa today for Great Britain. Mrs. George Craig, Wellington, is staying at the Central Hotel, Auckland. Miss M. Mitchell Brown, Dunedin. who has been visiting friends in the Nelson district, is now the guest of Mrs. H. Brown, Aparima Avenue, Miramar. Miss Proffer, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. G. Carter, Stratford. Mrs. G. Gardiner is a Wellington visitor :to ■ Auckland, and is staying at the Hotel Cargen. " , "The Post's" London correspondent reports that Christine, youngest daughter of Sir James Parr, is engaged to William Geoffrey, younger son of the Rev.
