TWO KARORI TEAMS
What promised to be a good game between the two Karori senior A teamfat Karori Park on Saturday was spont by ragged and at times rough P?ay in the second half. Karori B who Sled the ball better, *™« won by 3 goals tol. In the, first nail the play was clean and interesting, and both teams made a willing.fight of it. E. Adams put the A team in the lead towards the end of the first spell. On resumption Karori B put more spirit into their game, t and they kept hammering at their opponents' defence, which managed more by good luck than by good management to keep the balT out of the net. Persistent attacking however, broke down the cacK line and the B team scored three goals in quick success, Hull, Browne, and Ewdards being responsible. Poor stickwork and ill-timed attacking movements prevented Karori A from being dangerous, and on the few occasions in the second half that they got within scoring distance, C. Moore, the opposing goalkeeper, cleared in characteristic style. The game ended with both teams scrambling for the advantage. Messrs. H. F. Bollard and A. C. Watts were the umpires.
