GOVERNMENT MEMBERS DISSATISFIED

■ OTTAWA, April 11. One of the shortest sessions of Parliament yet known closed with a heated1 debate. Eight Western and Ontario Liberals revolted against the Government's tariff policy and especially the recent increases in duties on furniture from the United States. " ,

The session was marked by other evidences of dissatisfaction in the Government ranks, notably on the increases in the defence appropriations and the- renewal of the AngloCanadian trade treaty. ,

Before the adjournment an address of loyalty to the Sovereign was passed.
