"KITCHEN TEA"
An enjoyable evening was held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. Kilminster recently .when a "kitchen tea" was given by Mrs. R. Mailman, assisted 'by Mrs. A. Butterfield, in honour of Miss Lucy Sim ester, .whose marriage will take.place this, month. Music was' supplied by Mr. E. Ord, and Mr. R. Mailman was M.C. The dancing, competitions, and games all proved popular. , The ; competitions were won by Mrs. R. Dixon,.. Mrs. C. Clout,"Mrs. H: Mailman, Mr. J. McIntosh, Mr. W. McPherson, and Mr. 1. Irwin. • A much appreciated humorous item was given by Mrs. R. Mailman. After: a dainty supper hid been served the bride-elect opened her.parcels, and her fiance, Mr. Harold Kilminster, thanked everybody for, the many useful and pleasing gifts. The hostess was wearing pale green, sand crepe with diamante trimmings, and Miss Simesty a black satin frock and velvet coatee.
