Mrs.; Cramorid presided, and congratulated the branch on ite year's workj and'the''excellent response, its efforts had met-withi V. —; The; -resignations/ of the y following members of the /committee : were ac-; cepted .with regret:—Mesdames Sinel, Elgat, Hindle, Mason, and McArthur. , : The "following officers were;elected: — President, Mrs. Thomas; hoh. treasurer, Mrs. 'Goldfinch^'hon. ' secretary, ■ Mrs. Florance; committee, Mesdames J. L. ■Martin,: Campbell, Stitchbury, Walcot, Maudsley, Park, Morgan, Morpeth, Wyber, A. Barnfett, L. Blundell, Briggs, J..Payhej C^-Be'rendsen.' :i /; ; The' annual. report- states that the committee "Had/ much pleasure in stating that thV-'work has been steadily 'maintained.:': The mothers much apprediated/the valuable help given by Nurse MeClurg, Whose report was as follows: Tf-Visits tojiomes,,4'47;;new babies, 34; visits to rooms, adults 575, babies 560, older children 8. The report continued: , "We accept with very much regret the resignation of Mrs. Barnett as president, and wish to place on record our- appreciation of her work during the last three years. Our 'thanks ,are due to the Anglican Church committee for the,use of their schpolroorn?,6nce a .week and to the members who1 so kindly: provided cars and droye'thfc nurse when necessary." Three furlible sales were .held, also bridge'parties, in committee members' homes.'- The' sum of £106 was raised duringYthe' year." ~ , ,
