CORONATION ENVOYS

MISSION FROM THE VATICAN

LONDON, March 1,

The Vatican City, correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" learns that the Pope has decided to send a special Coronation mission to London.

He may appoint the cardinal resident in Rome as envoy extraordinary, thus breaking the tradition of the Holy See, which does not usually send • a prince of the Church even to the Coronation of a Catholic Sovereign.

It is pointed out that- relations between Britain and the Vatican are exceedingly cordial. The envoy will not participate in the religious ceremony at Westminster Abbey.
