OMISSION IN OATH
PROTESTANT PERTURBATION
United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received March 2, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 1. The Prime Minister, Mr. Stanley Baldwin, has formally acknowledged a letter from the United Protestant Council expressing satisfaction at the retention of the 'essentially Protestant terms of the Coronation oath but expressing perturbation at a report that "by the grace of God and Defender of the Faith" is being omitted from the i King's title.
