THE LATE MRS. C. E. ZOHRAB

The funeral service of the late Mrs. C. E. Zohrab took place this morning at St. Peter's Church, Willis Street, and the interment at Karori Cemetery. The Yen. Archdeacon Bullock ■ conducted both the church and the graveside services.

Relatives present at the church were Miss F. Zohrab, Mrs. Sanderson, Mrs. G. Hutchinson, Mrs. H. Srtppr, Mr. and Mrs. E. King, Mr. C. E. H. Zohrab. Mrs. E. G. F. Zohrab, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. cost of maintenance is £28 per annum. Miss Mitchell said the need for reorganisation of the association had been felt, and a sub-committee had been set up to frame rules for a new constitution. These. were read and Miss Mitchell ■ urged old girls to join up. Miss Beryl Stewart read the treasurer's report, which was found to be satisfactory.

Social service and the,various other reports were also.read. Miss Mary Mac Lean, a former headmistress of the school, who had been prevented from attending the old girls' dinner by ill health, was heartily welcomed to the meeting. Miss V. M. Greig, principal, was also present, and spoke a few.words to the gathering.

The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Patrons, Miss V. M.
