The Opunake Racing Club's Meeting is being held in glorious weather and there is a large attendance. The track' is firm. Results:— Patiki Hurdles Handicap, £100; 14 miles.—2 Bazaine, 9.13, 1; 1 Don Erma, 10.11, 2; 3 King Pluto, 9.0, 3. The only starters. Two lengths; 50 yards. Time, 2min 53sec. Maiden Race, £100; 6 furlongs.—3 Kentucky Song, 8.5, 1; 1 Seaham, 7.7, 2; 4 Kia Ora, f1.5, 3. Scr.: Running Shoes, River Feale.^ Two lengths. Time, lmin 18 2-ssec. '
