For the second day of the Gore Racing Club's Summer Meeting the weather is sunny and there is a large crowd present. The track is in good order. Results: — Mataura Highw^isht Handicap, £120; 8i furlongs.—2-2' Johnny, 9.10, 1; 3-4 Bay Biddy, 10.1, 2; 8-8 Joy Boa, 9.0, 3. All started. Length; neck. Time, lmin 51sec. Hokonui Hack Handicap, £120; 7 furlongs.—3-3 New Note, 8.8, 1; 1-1 Sailing Lady, 8.4, 2; 2-2 Ballad, 9.1, 3. All started. Neck; hall a length. Time, lmin 28 l-ssec. -..■■.
