ASSOCIATION

FLYGER CUP TEAM

The following have been selected by Mr. E. J. Gates, sole selector of First B Division teams for the Wellington Football Association, to represent Wellington against Auckland in a game for the Flyger Cup, at present held by Wellington, on the Basin Reserve next Saturday afternoon:—

Tonks (Miramar Rangers); Harris (Waterside), Reynolds (Technical O.B.); A. Scott (Institute O.B.), Harris (Technical- O.B.), Watts (Waterside); Wrigley (Island Bay, captain), Nevitt (Island Bay), Jones (Lower Hutt), Robb (Waterside), Whyte (Institute O.B.).

The reserves are Anderson (Waterside) and Gendall (Seatoun).

Players are to bring their own stockings and white shorts and to be at the Basin Reserve at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Any player unable to turn out is requested to notify the secretary of the W.F.A. or Mr. Gates,, telephone 54-710, by 5 p.m. on Friday.
