HOME SCIENCE STUDENTS
At, a recent meeting of tne Home Science Students, two appeals were made, one for cooperation in the effort being made to find funds with which to complete the furnishing of the new Home Science wing at the Technical College; the other on behalf of leprous children at Makogai for presents suitable for Christmas cheer. The evening was occupied with a reading of J. M. Barries "Twelve Pound Look," and an impromptu reading of "Quality Street."
Managers were appointed by the Wellington Rugby Union last night to take charge of representative teams. Mr. M. Simmonds will'have charge of the second team travelling to Horowhenua on Saturday; Professor E. J. Boyd-Wilson will manage the Colts' team on its East Coast tour; and Mr. R...T. Burke will manage the Wellington team which visits Masterlon-on August 20 lor the match against Wairarapa.
