BRITISH CONTROL ACQUIRED
■. \ ■ • LONDON, August 11. "The Times" understands that British interests have acquired dominating control in Mosul Oilfields, Ltd., through the medium of the Irak Petroleum Company. It was reported in September last that Italian interests had acquired sufficient shares to control the company and its associated concern, the British Oil Developments Company, which, holds a concession over 45,000 square miles from the Irak Government, but the company issued an official denial.
