i Matters of district interest were dis:cussed at a recent meeting, of the Hataitai Municipal Electors' Association. Mr. G. P. Anderson presided over a large attendance.
It was reported that replies from the various ratepayers and electors' associations in connection with the renumbering of houses were being received, and in most cases support was 'offered 'to the association •to bring about a- better renumbering of houses, throughout' the city and suburbs. • 'In view of the council's decision "to prohibit car parking at the entrance to the traffic tunnel at Moxham Avenue, it was decided to ask whether the council proposed to erect signs to that effect: . . -
A reply was received from the City Council regardmg the gorse nuisance, but a further letter is to be sent to the council pointing out the more dangerous places in the suburb where the gorso has not been cut and is a potential danger to nearby properties.
It was also decided to seek some official statement as to the position of motorists using the Hataitai Park Road.1 '
