BERHAMPORE TITLES
The following are the results of the finals of the club championship bouts held by the Berhampore Boxing Gymnasium, at which the trainer is Mr. J. Galley. Some fine boxing was witnessed, reflecting great credit on the trainer. The referee was the wellknown boxer Johnnie Leckie. Tiger-weight.—P. Byrne • (sst 101b) beat D. Wells (sst 41b) on points in a willing bout. Paperweight.—A. Monteith (7st 21b) beat K. O'Brien (7st 71b) by a technical knock-out. Flyweight.—H. Hagger (7st 131b) beat B. Quinn (7st 131b) by a technical knock-out. Featherweight.—Semi-final: J. Corbett Ost) beat J. McGirr. Final: Corbett knocked out J. Bettley after a willing bout. Lightweight.—C. Cullefi Ost 81b) drew with W. Smith Ost 81b). Welterweight.—G. Imlack (lOst) beat T. Garner (lOst 71b), the latter being no match for the lighter boy. Other bouts resulted:—N. Isaacs (4st 61b) drew with M. Grear (4st); J. Imlack (lOst 41b) beat M. Carley (9st 131b); M. Burns (—) drew with B. Armstrong (lOst 101b).
