Farewell Bridge Party

I Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Lusty gave, a ! bridge party at their home, 12 Joll I Street, Karori, last night as a farewell to Mr. and Mrs. R. Simmers, who will leave shortly for America, where they will spend two years before returning to New Zealand. Others present at the party were Mrs. P.: Jordan,' Mr. and Mrs. Graham Rutherford, Mr. and Mrs. Hawkin, Mr. and Mrs. Alec O'Shea, Mrs. T. Exley, Mr. and Mrs. Powles, Mr. and Mrs. C. Collins, Mr. and, Mrs. R. Slade, Mr.-and Mrs. A. Murdock, Mr; and Mrs. W. Williamson, and Mr. and Mrs. Allen. ; Tho tables were arranged in the lounge and j dining-rooms, which were attractively | decorated with bowls of vivid Iceland poppies. Correspondent's Request.
