FAST AND EXCITING BOUT

CHRISTCHURCH, August 12.
In a fast and exciting wrestling contest, McCready, 16st 121b, beat Danny Dusek, I6st 31b, by one fall in the fifth round. Dusek made a very favourable impression in his first serious bout in New Zealand, showing a .wide variety of holds and counters and great strength in applying them. McCready's fall came from a press after three successive slams. Dusek recovered1 brilliantly, outwrestling McCready in exciting seventh and eighth rounds. McCready, however, was too heavy and strong.
