MELBOURNE, This Day. The Government Analyst reported that analyses of swabs taken from Santa Casa, the Australian Steeples favourite, were entirely negative. No alkaloidal substances or drugs were found. i
It was reported on Monday that, following Santa Casa's dismal showing in the Australian Steeplechase, the stewards ordered a veterinary surgeon to take swabs from the favourite.
