REPAIRS TO THE RANCITANE
(Received August 11, 1.35 p.m.) LONDON, August 10. . Repairs are being effected to the Rartgitane at 'Cristobal. ' ' . A London cable on July. 30 stated that owing to the shroud of the main driving wheel haying broken, the New Zealand Shipping. Company's liner Rangitane, which left London on July 24 for Wellington, was proceeding on one engine to Colon, where she was due on : August 3. The owners had dispatched spare parts by the liner Manhattan to New. York whence they would be sent by aeroplane to Panama.
