KINDNESS REWARDED
Because they were kind to a "fussy old lady," three women employed in a restaurant at Scarborough, Yorkshire, have been left £25 each in her will. For years Miss Clara Nunneley, of Holbeck Hill, Scarborough, who was seventy-two when she died, lunched almost every day at the restaurant of a store. She always sat at the same table, and demanded immediate attention by the same waitress. The manageress and supervisor made it their business to see that her every wish was carried out. After her meals she would sit for hours listening to the orchestra. Then she would get up from her seat and go out, leaving no tip. . None of, the three women expected any reward except the smile of thanks they always received. But Miss Nunneley's will, published recently, included bequests of £25 for each of them. -.
