DANCE SOCIAL

A very pleasant evening was spent by members and friends of the Manx Society at the monthly "dance social," in the Rechabite Hall, Willis Street, on Saturday.

A varied and enjoyable programme of song, dance, and elocutionary items was presented. Solos were contributed by Mrs. Porter and Mr. Caldwell; elocutionary items by Miss Una Waller and Master Jack Dexter; a dance duo by Miss Margaret Oates and Mr. McGrath; and solo dances by Miss Dolly Atkin and Master Ralph Wilkin. Mrs. Caldwell, Miss Margaret Oates,1 and Mr. David Clarke were the accompanists for the various musical items. Mr. Durrant supplied music at the piano for the general dancing. Mr. F. T. Alexander was M.C. '

Supper was handed round by the ladies'- committee, and dancing continued until a late hour.
