Mrs. G. W. Forbes went .south for. the weekend and will return to Wellington tomorrow.

Mrs. A. A. Stitchbury, Upland Road, left Wellington Jast night for the south.

Lady Hunt, Bplton Street, has returned home after spending a few weeks at Palmerston North.

Mr. and Mrs. W. G. White left Hastings yesterday to take up their residence in Wellington.

Miss- Kathleen Caughey, Auckland, is visiting Wellington.

Mrs. Martin Singer, who was a visitor to Wellington for the wedding of her, sister, Miss .Zelda Woolf, to Mr. Myer Morris, has returned to Auckland.

The Hon. W. Perry and Mrs. Perry left Wellington last night for Christchurch.

Mr. and Mrs. E. Stoupe,. Lower Hutt, and their daughter Joan have left for some weeks' holiday: in Sydney and Melbourne.

■Mr. and Mrs. Alexander . Mclntosh have returned, to Wellington from Rotorua and are staying with Mrs. Mclntosh's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dyer, until / Friday, when they will leave for Auckland to join the Akaroa en route to England.

Mrs. C. Si Stevens and Mrs. L. W. Ruddle, Christchurch, are visiting Mrs. F. B. King, Wellington.

Mrs. S. A- Stannard, Palmei-ston North, arrived in Wellington yesterday and left today by the Maui Pomare for several weeks' holiday at the Samoan Islands."
