"LOVERS' LEAP."

There is no more popular type of play, with theatre audiences than the typical British light comedy—and also none that is harder to present successfully, so that the Thespians are to be commended for their courage in choosing "Lovers' Leap/ the clever new comedy by Philip Johnson, for their next production, opening on Thursday next in the Town Hall Concert Chamber. This brilliantly-witty comedy—"the best since Noel Coward's 'Private Lives' " —was extremely successful in London recently. The Thespians are making a special" effort in every department for this production. A very strong cast is engaged, including such well-known and popular players as T. V. Anson, Marjorie Murray. Sinclair Breen, Myles F. E. Wright, paid Sehvyn Toogood. The production is ynder the direction of Victor S. Lloyd, who has been responsible for all the Thespian productions to date. The assistant producer is Winnie Cooley, the stage manager is Evan Harrowell, and Isabel Burton and Peggy Lucas are the property mistresses.

The box plan opened to the public at Begg's this morning.
