STATE THEATRE, PETONE.
The dramatic "Way Down East" heads the programme at the State Theatre, Petone, tonight. Rochelle Hudson and Henry Fonda play the principal roles in this engrossing story, which has one of the most thrilling climaxes ever filmed. "When a Man's a Man" will also be shown. George O'Brien is the star and with him are Dorothy Wilson, Paul Kelly, Harry Woods. Jimmy Butler, Richard Carlisle, Clarence Wilson, and Edgar Norton. Special "shorts" will be shown from 7.30 p.m.
