Joseph Nathan and Company, Ltd., have received from their principals' Trengrouse and Nathan, Ltd., London, the following cabled advice, dated August 6:—New Zealand butter: U6s to 117s per cwt; market firm. New Zealand cheese: White 63s 6d per cwt coloured 62s 6d per cwt; firm. A. J. Mills and Co. advise by cable London, August 6, giving the following market prices as ruling at the close of business yesterday:—Butter: The market opened quiet but closes firmer New Zealand; finest 116s to 117s, firsts 114s to 115s; Australian, choicest 115s first grade 114s; Danish (spot), 126s to 128s, (f.0.b.) 105s; Siberian, 108s to 110sBaltic States, 108s to 110s. Cheese market closes firm. New Zealand white 63s to 63s 6d. coloured 61s 6d to 62s 6d.
A. S. Paterson and Co., Ltd., advises having received today cable advice from- Messrs. J. and J. Lonsdale and Co. (London), Ltd., as follows:—Butter market firm; New Zealand, 117s; Australian, 116s; Danish, quiet, 105s f.ob. 126s landed. Cheese market firmwhite 645, coloured 61s 6d to 625.
