' ANOTHER BIG DAY
ROUND OF "REP." GAMES
Various Rugby football districts will have their representatives in the field tomorrow, though Wellington will be taking particular interest in a vital championship match. Auckland's representatives, who made a very determined bid for the :V.anfurly Shield, will be playing a match with Southland tomorrow, and on the following Saturday they have an engagement with Wellington. Otago will be ,iefending the Ranfurly Shield against, a challenge by Ashburton tomorrow, and Marlborough (holders) will tie meeting Golden Bay-Motueka in a match for, the Seddon Shield. Manawatu's representatives commence their tour in the south with a match against North Otago.
The North Island captain, B. A. Killeen, and another North Island representative, T. M. Lockington, will not be assisting Auckland in tomorrow's match. They were in Wellington today, on their way back to Auckland, but they are to rejoin the team for the match with Wellington.
