NEW GOVERNOR OF N.S.W.
WELCOMED AT SYDNEY
SYDNEY, August 6.
A warm welcome was. today accorded the new Governor of New South Wales, Sir Murray Anderson, and his wife.
A representative gathering of members of Cabinet, city aldermen, and public men and women assembled at the wharf and greeted their Excellencies in glorious sunshine. Ships of the Australian Navy were dressed for the occasion, a number of aeroplanes flew overhead, and naval guns fired a salute. Crowds, cheered the Viceregal couple during the procession through the city. .
Sir Murray Anderson arrived at Fremantle on June 16, but a few days earlier had contracted a severe chill, and, when the vessel berthed, he was taken: to hospital seriously iIL
