BERHAMPORE EFFORT
The second of a series of combined | dances was held recently ■in the Masonic Hall, Berharnpore, in honour of. the four queens competing in the Berhampore Home, and School Association's Queen Carnival. They are Miss Alice Hart (school), Miss Zelda Kuch (Tui Tennis Club), Miss Joyce Havill (Pirates Football Club), and Miss Lily Sepper (Institute Silver Band). The dance which was organised by the Pirates' Football Club, was very successful. There were about 60 couples on the floor, and Mr. W. Mooney made an efficient M.C. The proceeds derived from the carnival are to be used for providing many extras required for the Berhampore School.
