SATURDAY'S WRESTLING
I Ju-jitsu, the Japanese science or seirdefence, is becoming increasingly popular among western people. In England and on the Continent "judo" clubs are springing up with amazing rapidity. The first ju-jitsu challenge match in Wellington will be staged at the Show Stadium on Saturday night when Ryngoro Shima, holder of the high black belt degree, will meet Kiyo Kameda, a young and clever opponent. Shima, former instructor to the New South Wales Police Force, is author of a book on the science. The main*event will be between junior heavyweight wrestlers, "Rocky" Britton and Neil Rex. Britton, among other titles, holds the heavyweight championship of the Philippines which he won in the course of a world's tour. The amateur preliminaries will comprise three special challenge matches at. catchweights between: L. Nolan v. A. Bloomfield; S. Bradley v. R: W. Hutchison; T.-Wright ,and an opponent to be arranged.
