CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The Addington course,' which was out of action for about a fortnight as a result of rain and snow, has recovered wonderfully in the last few days, and it should be in great order for the first day, with a prospect of being fast, provided the present favourable weather continues.

■ Trial Handicap.—Frisco Lady, Southern Smile, Happy Knight. Stewards' Handicap.—Discord, Flotsam, Air Flow. ' ~ Queen Mary Handicap.—Grand Mogul, Bonny Azure, Noble Prince. ' Selwyn Handicap.—Rocks Ahead, Graham Direct, De Soto. International Handicap. — Cloudy Range, Supertax, Raydus.
