MR. LOWRY'S NEW SIRE
The stallion Mr. T. H. Lowry was recently reported to have purchased in England is Tiderace, a four-year-old chestnut son of Fairway and Panic, by Hurry On .from Volcanic, by Corcyra from La Soufriere, by Robert le Diable. Tiderace is a half-brother to the well-performed filly Solfatara, who won the Nassau Stakes at Goodwood and ran second to Chatelaine in the. 1933 Oaks. . He is a member of the Bruce Lowe No. 4 family, and traces back to a. half-sister to the .ancestress of another stallion in Psychology, who was previously at Okawa, and is the sire of Cuddle.
