THE REV. C. H. LAWRENCE
The sudden death occurred at' his home -early last night of the Rev. George Howard Lawrence, priest in charge of All Saints' Anglican-Church, Wanganui. East (reports a Press Association telegram from Wanganui) .Mr. Lawrence appeared to be in-good health and conducted a service- in the afternoon, but collapsed soon aftec arriving home. .He was in his fifty-eighth year and came to . Wanganui from Christchurch eighteen' months ago. He was ordained at .Dunedin fifteen years ago and subsequently - was vicar " at Lumsden and later at Roxburgh. He married Miss Lillian Phillips, who conies, from a : well-known Christchurch family. His wife and one daughter survive him: • ■ ■
