ENJOYABLE EVENING

RESERVE BANK DANCE

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand Social and Sports Club held a very enjoyable and well-attended dance at the Kelburn Kiosk last night. Although the weather was chilly the absence of rain enabled all to enjoy the beautiful view and helped to make the occasion a great success. Mrs. W. F. L. Ward, wife of the Deputy Governor of the bank, who was to have been hostess for the occasion, was unable to attend; The committee consisted of Misses Hazel McCauley (hon.secretary), Gwen .Hamerton, Dorothy Drake; 'Mr. Stanley G. Eade and Mr. P. Hector.
