PLUNKET MEETING

A pleasant meeting of the Paraj paraumu Plunket committee took place iat the residence of Mrs. Reeve. The president in a charming speech, welcomed Mrs. Gray and Mrs. Hassall. ' Mrs. Gray' gave an interesting talk on ! committee matters pertaining to the coastal towns branch, and Mrs. Hassall read a financial report, which was of great interest. Mrs. Shepherd was warmly welcomed as ii new member. A delicious afternoon tea was provided by the president, which, combined with a bright fire and cheerful conversation, made: a happy afternoon.
