INSURANCE DANCE

GOVERNMENT LIFE

The decorations at \he annual- dance, of the Government Life Insurance Department last were very atr tractive,^especially in the'supper roorti* Brown -baskets of. beautiful^ red. artificial roses- and birch and vases. Of spring flowers and other blooms were on the supper tables, and the wide red streamers which lay lengthwise on the white coverings added additional:, colour. In the dance room blue and gold streamers hung from the centre of the ceiling arid were drawn to the four corners of the room and coloured streamers also Kung from -the lights.

The dance was held in the St. Fran-cis-Hall, and there was an excellent attendance. For those not wishing to dance'several tables, for "bridge" were provided.l •.-.-- 1 ' •

The, committee < responsible for the arrangements comprised Misses Cooley (who was-wearing-russet and gold taffeta), Sturrock" (black velvet), and Wright (pastel blue and pink taffeta), and Messrs. Eddy (secretary), Gunn, Kennedy, Low,'Mushet, Rickett, Ryan, and Wild.
