LIFE TO 140

PROSPECT FOR HUMANS

DR. VORONOFFS OPINION

LONDON, August 3.

English women seeking to renew their youth by the grafting of monkey glands far outnumber women doing so in any other country, according to Dr. Voronoff, who is visiting London.

"Women in other countries are satisfled if their faces look young," he said. "English women must be young. They wish to golf, hunt, and dance on level terms with their daughters and sometimes their' granddaughters. They want strength as well as beauty. > • "There is no reason why men and women should not live to be 140. Women have a better chance because they lead easier and more natural lives. My observations show that most animals live seven times the period it takes them tqf develop fully. A human being living in > open and natural surroundings, with only, the basic emotions of love, laughter, and tears should live seven times 20 years. It is possible for a woman, after a painless half-hour of surgery, to regain 15 years of her life."

Dr. Voronoffi added that ten men undergo the treatment to every woman. •• •
