MR. F. CLARK
A well-known resident of Petone Mr Frederick'Clark, died last week. The late Mr. Clark, who was of a quiet, unassuming nature, had resided in Petone for 35 years. He took a keen interest in the activities Of friendly societies, being a member of Court Epuni, A.0.F., and passing through all the chairs in that court and also through the chairs in the district executive. For sixteen years he was senior trustee of the court. He was instrumental in the formation of the United Friendly Societies' dispensary and up to the time of his death was a member of ■ the board of management and trustee . The funeral took place at the Taita Cemetery on Friday, the Rev. H. S. I. Kenny officiating. ' The Foresters' service was conducted by D.S.C.R. Bro. Boniface. There was a large attendance; those present including the A.O.F. district executive and district trustees Mr. C. Gostelow, Registrar of Friendly Societies, and members of Court TEpuni. Mr. Clark "is survived by his widow and three sons, Messrs. Allan and George Clark (Lower Hutt) and Gordon Clark, (Petone).
